I’ve always loved jumpsuits, but I still have to be honest and admit, that they’re not always the most convenient options. (specially not if you drink a lot of water – get it?) But just like most things in life, you have to look beyond the negatives and focus on the things that make you happy: case in point, the look of this jumpsuit! A little confession about it? It’s one of those items I’ve owned for maybe over three years, and yet somehow, I’ve managed to never wear it! I’ve tried it out a few times to wear for various occasions, but I have no idea why it never worked out. And now, finally, it did! (and what better way for an outfit to make a debut on me than a blog post, right?) I’ve been slightly obsessed with blues, prints and bright shades, and reason is definitely obvious: the summer spirit! I’ll always love the colder weather more in the city of Bombay, I enjoy summer best by the beach, but it’s the season to make the most of the current situation(s). I was super bummed out a couple of weeks ago when Gerard and my plan for Goa got cancelled because of some projects that came up at his end, but the bright side (as always) is that we’re already planning our next mini-cation.
My current style jam is wavering towards easy to wear outfits that keep me comfortable with minimalistic jewellery. My engagement and wedding rings are part of every look, so those go without saying; but I was surprised with myself when I picked out the multi-layered chain while shopping recently. It’s something I would have normally steered clear from, but if there’s anything I’ve learnt over the years, it’s that I should try everything at least once before saying anything about it. My beauty mood is easily changing these days as well. I opted for all dewy makeup, even though the products Naima and I picked were almost all with matte finish. The highlighter bug has bit me hard – specially since I met the Bobbi Brown highlighter – but I’m now even more open to trying new hair do’s as well. Be it the space buns from one of my other recent looks, or thing single, top knot that basically defines me in a nutshell. So before the stroke of midnight, go over and check out the photos from the look. I promised you this blog post would go live today, and even though it’s the last couple of hours of ‘today’, here the blog post is! 🙂
