Back To (Summery) Basics

The joy of being able to do what I do every single day has no bounds, and if you listen to my weekly segment on Radio One 94.3 (for you guys in Bombay!) then you know what today’s blog post is about: going back to basics, something I love doing.

A simple dress can never be underrated, specially when it’s so in sync with my mood right now. I’ve bid adieu to almost all my denim pieces *snif snif* and am completely overwhelmed with my dresses, skirts and more casual joggers. I found this floral dress at a local store in Bandra – Cherry Fig – that sells unbranded and sometimes, surplus stock. I love digging through stores like this that help me find simple, but chic outfits. I know Meryl Streep doesn’t think much of florals for spring *come on, you have to know what I’m talking about!* but I’m a happy lover of all things cliche 🙂
