So here’s the thing: I’m often trying out new styles, and being the moody dresser that I am, I don’t get stuck to much except for maybe my hand bag, which I switch only once in two or three weeks. The thing is that certain details about some looks really stay with me, and then I land up going through this phase where I try to reincorporate the same details in different details. Because? Because love. The newest love of my
life wardrobe is chambray. This powder blue detail is perfect for the current mood I’m in, which is essentially lots of layering, hint of accessories and basically everything that’s easy to shift in from events to meetings. If you’re following my snapchat (username: AanamC), you know by now that I’m currently in the ‘third rule’ phase to a massive extent, and have been wearing everything from additional layers to hats, but this particular shirt I picked from a marketi in Hong Kong is something that’s my current favourite.
Having found this long-lost shirt at the back of my cupboard while doing my monthly round of switching piles (the front ones go at the back and the vice-versa), I think you’re going to be seeing loads of chambray over the next few weeks. So please, brace yourself. This is the look I wore to the Studio West launch event last week, which was followed by my styling session at Inorbit Mall for the InTrend event.
