Lust List For The December Loving Girl

With December being one of the busiest times of the year, I always try to be as prepared as I can for the events, shoots and meetings to come. While I’m not the typical ‘party girl’, I do enjoy good music and catching up with friends at a chilled lounge every now and then, I also enjoy dressing well for my work days. Be it the comfy choices for everyday or the easy chic work picks; the key for me has always been to keep it all simple and very ‘me’. Today, I’ve put together three looks for some style inspiration, something for: everyday wear, a work look and for the party girl!

Look 1: Daddy Cool
The key behind any everyday look is to keep your outfit as simple and casual as possible. Comfort is of vital importance here; and remember to keep your jewellery and makeup as minimalistic. Feel free to stack up on your arms if you want more metal accents on yourself this season. My choice of makeup for daily wear has alway been very neutral with hints of pink and tan – highlight and contour! Sometimes I like to skip the heavy eyeliner, and opt for some easy mascara instead.
Totes are my best friends, they help carry around all my essentials for the long days ahead. And I love how this particular black one has a slightly long chain, which means I could carry it in different ways. Shorts or midi dresses are my go to for running errands or sourcing days, and I’m crazy about denim, snug fits, too.

Look 2: Werq It
One of the biggest advantages (believe me when I’m saying this!) about working in fashion is that I never “have to” go all formal when I’m heading for meetings. I prefer to opt for understated glam looks which are easy to carry off and don’t take much time, too. A simple sleeveless top, a fabulous leather skirt and some edgy, minimal jewellery is something I think of as the perfect meeting look; especially if I’m meeting new clients. I do think that bright lips might not blend in too well when you’re headed for a corporate session, and so I opted for a neutral, glossy choice while putting this look together.
Always make sure you have a bag that fits your notebook or iPad when you’re heading for work, and that you always smell amazing!FabAlley 2
Look 3: The It Girl
She’s gorgeous, dresses fabulously and is sassy as hell! The ‘it’ girl knows how to work everything her way. And for her look I’ve chosen the classic LBD, but mixed it all up with a little antique gold accent and a pop of colour on the heels. Suede heels have been trending for a couple of seasons now, but some of us, can’t seem to get enough. Admittedly, I’m one of them.
My beauty mantra for this look would be to play up your eyes with the winged look and dramatic mascara, opt for a top know so the one shoulder stands out and make sure you wear your smile! 🙂FabAlley 1

I’ve been pretty impressed with the wide variety of options on FabAlley and don’t forget that you should definitely follow their Facebook Page for updates, too!
