Not So Many Shades Of Grey

The look I’m sharing with you today is my last, and perhaps my most favourite one of the four I had the chance to shoot in Mussoorie. It makes me a little sad that this is the last piece from the trip, but I think I’m also thrilled about the idea of completing and sharing the bank I prepared for you, and moving on to [hopefully soon] the next travel experience. The look I’m sharing with you today is a little more inclined towards winter than the current phase of the sticky humidity, but I’ve held on to it for far too long so I decided it was time dive right into it.

The mood for the moment we shot this look was all about glamour, but instead of the quintessential glitter, I wanted this to be be a little more minimal. Something with a hint of gothic, and yet red carpet friendly. If you’re been a follower for a while, you know I’m very open to the ideas of bold, dark lip shades and experimental makeup in general. I was the birthday girl with black lipstick at my own birthday last year – so you get where I’m coming from. It was the perfect go to when I got to pair up my favourite bold lip with a trench coat style dress that made me feel comfortable and very, very on point, too.

Keeping the slick mood going, I left my hair falling flat with a middle parting, and chose jewels that would hide and seek through the multiple angles.
