Bright skies, flowers all around, lovely colours and pretty much a happy, sunny day. For me, the summers have gradually become one of the seasons I relish – needless to say – minus the obnoxious humidity #BombayStyle. And so, these few dry, bright days in the middle of the pouring rains have become my saving grace; the days I choose to run around for my errands, finish meetings that involve a lot of travel and just soak the bright skies to whatever extent I can. The biggest downside of it all? For a blogger like me, who absolutely loves the outdoor shoots, the rains pour down on my shoot days and become a whole new level of inconvenient. But then again, like I always say, take every challenge in your stride and make the most what you have: and so I try to watch out for the weather forecasts and get my timelines in order.
The look I put together for this shoot is something that I would wear to a brunch or pool party, something on the lines of a formal get together where a pair of heels and a crisp, off white dress with the cut-out shoulder and floral detailing would do the trick. What’s more? The fit of the number has me gaping at how it enhances all the right curves, and hide all the wrong ones. This number has easily, in one wear, made it to the top of my ‘formal day wear’ list.
