Do you find yourself apologising a lot in your life? Not particularly for anything you’ve done, but just because you end to feel guilty a lot? It’s just natural to say sorry to someone if you’ve been whining in front of them for a while, isn’t it? Well, truth is, it isn’t.
But you’re not alone, you know. A lot of us tend to feel the exact same way. There’s so much happening in everyone’s life at all times. If they’re taking the time to listen to you and pay attention, and even potentially advise you, apologising to them does come more naturally. However, words of apology and words of gratitude are distinctly different. And this whole concept of apologising when you’re feeling grateful just does not make sense to us. You don’t need to apologise for being human to appreciate everything others are doing for you.
