This Just In: New Skin Care For Your Skin To Love

You guys know what a skin care junkie I am! I’m an enthusiast at a level so involved that I switch up my products every 3-4 weeks. I like to try new products in the market, and often mix them up with classic favourites, or even sometimes change up the entire routine altogether. Coming to what I’m sharing with you today: Dermafique is a brand I’ve heard about for a while now, having received some of their products in PR a few weeks ago, I thought of trying them out and coming to you with some details. Read on if you want to know more about these launches:

First things first: let me break down the steps for you: micellar water, toner and tonic. I’ll get into what makes each of these products unique below.

Micellar water: The Dermafique Micellar Water is alcohol free, paraben free and has been dermatologically tested to work on Indian skin. Considering it’s also alcohol free, oil free and ophthalmologist tested, it can be recommended for all skin types; including sensitive and acne prone skin. Personally, I like to use one water based cleanser mixed with an oil/balm based cleanser on a daily basis (double cleansing routines – let me know if you want a blog post on that?) so I’m glad that this product works well by itself as well as in combination with others.

Toner: One of the most common questions I get asked is ‘what is the job of of a toner?’, so let me start with answering this first. A toner works well with cleaning up your pores in one of the most squeaky clean ways possible. With our urban lifestyles that are so exposed to pollution, dust and germs, it’s important to not just clean your face skin on a surface level but also on a later or so deeper. Bonus points for using a toner regularly is that if you suffer from big pores, a toner will help you reduce the size of them too. Just remember to use this on a regular basis, once or twice a day, depending on what you find more useful.

The Dermafique Toner is alcohol free, paraben free, clinically tested to work well for Indian skin and helps restore pH levels of your skin. In addition to this, it works well for all skin types and needs zero rinses which makes it easy to use on the go as well.

Tonic: The Dermafique Hydratonique comes in two variants: the (A) gel fluid (B) gel creme. The one is the image above (and that I have tried myself) is the Gel Creme. You can pick between these textures based on what your skin type is. Naturally, someone with normal to dry skin might pick a creme based finish; while someone with normal to oily skin might opt for something with a gel finish. The formula for the tonic is perfect for Indian climate; apart from that it has also been designed to be perfectly light so it doesn’t feel greasy on the skin – but not too light, so its really effective too.

I really hope you guys find this piece helpful! If you want me to do more blogs on skin care and/or beauty, go ahead and leave a comment on my Insta page; I’ll be listening.
